Established in 2024 by Andy McLaughlin, this is a small but enthusiastic group of “retirees” (as Andy likes to call us) who are putting our respective skill sets together in a practical endeavour.
My particular qualification came about because I can add photography to my writing and performing interests.

Andy is also a photographer, and has now expanded into film-making. His team also includes Sean Davis, an award-winning photographer from South Africa (now living in the Ribble Valley), and Peter St John, a retired science teacher and keen angler.

Our first project is currently under way: to produce a 90-minute, three-part documentary about the River Ribble, from its source to the sea. Unique about this presentation is that it will be told from the river’s personal point of view – and guess who’s playing the part of The River?

Yes. I will be writer, narrator and artistic director on this project. A trailer will soon land on YouTube, and the full finished version will be out in 2026. More information HERE.
