As a freelance, I take on small-scale projects for two magazines local to where I live in Lancashire: Live Ribble Valley and Live Preston & Fylde

To me, the beauty of this work is positive at all levels, because of its human impact. These are the stories that are worth sharing with others because we can all benefit from them. They can be informative, or simply fun to read. I don’t try to push an opinion onto anyone, nor am I selling anything. Often, I write about a worthwhile endeavour, such as the efforts of volunteers on the Saving Amy Project at Blackpool. Or it can simply make a difference within a community to learn what goes on behind the scenes of a photographic exhibition in their local library.

These magazines are distributed freely across a wide area of Lancashire, and are accessible online as you will find by clicking on the extracts below:

If YOU have a story you feel might be worth sharing – particularly in the areas of Blackpool, the Fylde, or the Ribble Valley, then why not get in touch HERE?
