If you are fortunate enough to live in the North West of the UK, you may pick up a copy of a luxury lifestyle magazine published by Live Magazines. These cover three geographical regions: Preston & The Fylde, the Ribble Valley and the Yorkshire Dales.
I contribute occasional features for each of these publications. I like to write about people or projects that interest me, and that provide something positive in life. For example, there’s a project at Blackpool Airport re-building the plane once flown by Amy Johnson. Or there’s the group of walkers in the Longridge area who raise thousands of pounds each year on a pub crawl. Then there’s the legacy of author and vet James Herriot, still bringing smiles to our faces thirty years after his death.
